Kennith Nichol

Kennith is a composer and pianist from the Comox Valley. He moved to Victoria to pursue studies in theory, composition, piano, and pedagogy.

Kennith is currently studying at the Victoria Conservatory of Music. He is studying composition with Stephen Brown, the head of the theory and composition department. He is studying piano with Kelly Charlton and piano pedagogy with Linda Low and Dr. Jamie Syer.

Kennith recieved the Katarina scholarship for outstanding achievment in composition during the 2008 VCM award ceremony.

In 2006 he completed a certificate in music foundations for piano. During this period he studied piano with Winifred Scott Wood. He studied musicianship, theory, and harmony with Crystal Wiksyk.
